Meet Our Student Ambassadors: Evelyn Dunn & Tyler Powell
Yesterday, Mrs. McGinnis selected two outstanding students to represent Georgetown at the Ohio Code Scholar event. These student ambassadors did an exceptional job standing at our table, warmly greeting visitors, and sharing insights about our Ohio Code Scholar initiative and our school's STEM program.
Their professionalism and enthusiasm reflected the best of our school community. Evelyn and Tyler proudly represented Georgetown to a distinguished audience, including School Board Members from other districts, State Education Officials, College and University Presidents, a State Senator, and even the Lieutenant Governor.
Weโre incredibly proud of their leadership and the way they showcased the strength of our programs and students! Gov. DeWine visited the Computer Science Department at Southern State last week to showcase the amazing things they are doing to promote CS education in Southern Ohio. We are thankful our students are included in these amazing opportunities! #IgniteInspireInstill
