Friday was a total mullet: Business in the front, party in the back. We spent the morning at the Jr/Sr High School honoring our incredible scholars at the Academic Awards Ceremony. After a quick outfit change, the suits were swapped for sneakers as we headed outside for Field Day, where every dollar raised goes directly to the Coaches' Community Fund! Check out all the award recipients: https://aptg.co/Txq2fX #IgniteInspireInstill

Calling all art lovers! Come out and support our amazing art students tonight, or simply just take time to enjoy the art that will be on display in the hallways for the next few days. Lock in! Our halls got a major glow-up during state testing thanks to our amazing teachers. We traded testing jitters for Big Brain Energy and reminded our students that they were ready to knock it out of the park. No cap, our kids crushed it! #IgniteInspireInstill

Happy #TeacherAppreciationWeek to the only people on earth who can:
Explain long division 14 different ways. β
Survive a room full of kindergartners on a rainy Monday. β
Confidently identify which kid is humming "Baby Shark" from the back row. β
Teachers are a wealth of knowledge and a miracle of modern endurance. If you see a teacher this week, buy them a coffee. If you see a teacher on Friday afternoon, buy them two. Take a second this week to thank a teacher who made a difference in your life!

Behind every successful student is a mountain of chicken nuggets and a School Lunch Hero who served them. Thanks to our amazing cafeteria staff for making sure our kids are powered by something other than just "vibes" and lost pencils. #IgniteInspireInstill

It was an honor to celebrate educational excellence Tuesday night at the Brown County Educational Service Centerβs annual event. After taking home the Brown County Teacher of the Year title last year with Pam McKinney, Georgetown is thrilled to nominate Dawn Gregory for this year's honors. We are rooting for you, Mrs. Gregory! #IgniteInspireInstill

They get up earlier than most birds, navigate the courthouse square construction, and can solve arguments with just one glance in the rearview mirror. No, we're not talking about moms - today is all about celebrating our Transportation Team! They make the wheels on the bus go round and round. π Their patience and dedication deserve all the applause (and maybe some earplugs). #IgniteInspireInstill

Last night was the Exceptional Achievement Awards, and the recognition we received was a huge testament to our incredible staff, our hard-working students, and a community that chooses kindness and growth every single day. To snag these PBIS awards, our buildings went above and beyond the basics. We showed the state that we not only know how to identify students who need a little extra boost, but that we are able to provide the right supports to help them succeed. And our behavior and attendance data confirmed itβour students are thriving and staying on track! #IgniteInspireInstill
