Thank you to Nike for partnering with our 6th-grade ELA students to enhance engagement around setting goals. Mr. McGinnis tells his students "always do your best, you never know who's watching". Unexpectedly, Nike was watching and following this learning experience. Goals were written on the backs of shoes designed by our students. Each year Mr. McGinnis shares these designs with friends at Nike. This year they offered to choose the winning shoe. Below is a video link made by employees at Nike to showcase the design finalists. After voting they surprised Mr. McGinnis and his ELA students by sending each of the finalists a pair of AF1s. The winning design by Conner Howard was painted by designers at Nike onto a shoe as well. Who knew goal setting could be so fun?! #IgniteInspireInstill
