STEM students engage with dominos as they work on communication and collaboration. Each student builds their wall and then works with their team of four to connect the walls. Their patience is evident as they meticulously build their walls, highlighting the necessity of collaboration and effective communication in group activities. Math is fun in Mrs. Scott's 1st-grade class! Our young learners practiced adding within 10 with the game 'What's Behind My Back?' They used cubes to break apart numbers and discover how many their partner was hiding. Hands-on learning in action! #IgniteInspireInstill

Elementary students are learning how STEM shows up in different careers. They are looking for community members to share pictures, emails, or prerecorded videos showcasing STEM in their work. Having conversations about career goals early on helps students develop communication skills and goal-setting abilities. As our students learn more about the world, their career goals will evolve, helping them gain confidence and a better understanding of their potential future.
