💡 Donate 550 small trick-or-treat items (1 per student) — candy, pencils, erasers, stickers, fidgets, glow sticks, or small toys.
🎭 Join us in person on the morning of Oct. 31st to hand out treats, decorate a table, and help us make this event memorable for all students!

As many of you are aware, the Cincinnati Reds are back in the playoffs for the first time in five years. With the first postseason game taking place tomorrow evening, we are encouraging all students and staff to wear their Reds gear TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 30 to show our community pride. This is a completely optional spirit day, but we wanted to promote the opportunity for Reds fans to cheer on their hometown team!

📚 Reminder! The Scholastic Book Fair is this week at Georgetown Elementary (Sept 29–Oct 2). Students shop during specials & families can visit during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thurs, 10/2 from 4:30–7:30 PM in the library! #IgniteInspireInstill

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the mighty Georgetown Marching Band will NOT be marching in the parade tonight.
Student safety concerns have driven this decision.
All Brown County bands have decided not to march in the parade.

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has spoken, and the results are in: GEVS has earned a phenomenal 4.5-star rating on its annual report card! The yearly report card, which assigns an overall rating from 1 to 5 stars, is based on a comprehensive evaluation of up to six different components. Earning a score this high is a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the collective effort and commitment to excellence. A huge congratulations to the students and staff of GEVS for this incredible success! Your commitment to learning and growth has truly paid off.

Elementary and HS STEM students ran into a challenge with storing their droids for this year's Ohio Code Scholar robotics program. Students quickly came up with a solution to create their own storage boxes. With a generous donation from NAL our students used large matte boards to measure the dimensions and fold their own storage boxes. #IgniteInspireInstill
