Homecoming Schedule Update – Important Information for Families
Students, Parents, and Guardians of Georgetown Jr./Sr. School,
We want to share an important update regarding Homecoming activities due to the winter weather forecast for Saturday, January 24. While we understand how much time, effort, and excitement go into preparing for Homecoming, the anticipated weather conditions are beyond our control. With student safety as our top priority, we are making this decision early to give families and students as much time as possible to adjust their plans and arrangements.
To help accommodate everyone’s preparations, the Homecoming Dance scheduled for this Saturday has been cancelled and rescheduled, rather than eliminated.

Homecoming Court Activities (including King and Queen announcement):
Friday, January 30, held between the second JV and Varsity basketball Games
Homecoming Dance: Saturday, January 31 | 7:00–10:00 p.m.
Friday Night (1/23) Activities – No Changes
7th and 8th Grade Snowball Dance 6-8 PM
These adjustments affect Saturday’s events only. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to preserve Homecoming traditions while keeping our school community safe.
