This summer, the public schools of Brown County joined forces with UMC Food Ministry to create a summer food program serving ALL school-age students in our Brown County communities.
Brown County Superintendents recognized a need, reviewed relevant data, and—together with the help of so many—made it happen.
The result? We are proud to share that 750,512 meals were provided to the children of Brown County!
A huge THANK YOU goes out to UMC Food Ministry, the incredible individuals in our schools’ transportation and food service departments, and the various local organizations in the county who continue serving the students and families of Brown County.
It truly takes a village—and in Brown County, our village shows up. Together, we are stronger. Together, we serve. Together, we support our students.
