There will be an informational meeting about beginning Band for 5th graders and their parents on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in the Georgetown Elementary School Cafeteria. 5th Grade is the only opportunity to begin playing a Band instrument in the Georgetown School System. The meeting on August 29th will be the only chance for students to have a hands-on experience with the instruments before Band class begins. Representatives from Buddy Roger's/Willis Music and Mr. Thomas (GEVS Band Director) will be there to give information and answer questions. Please prioritize this event if your child has any interest in playing in the Band.
