Perseverance

The theme for the next two weeks at Georgetown Exempted Village Schools is Perseverance. To Persevere is to push through the pain to achieve a goal. The easy thing to do is to quit, give up, try something new or even make excuses. We will be working with our students over the next couple of weeks to learn why perseverance is such a vital skill in today's world. We ask that our parents and community members talk to our kids about this skill. If you can think of a time in your life that you pushed through and the rewards were sweet, share your story. Our kids learn when adults share their experiences. We are thankful for the opportunity to educate our 1,140 students every day! Watch this quick video by Mr. Burrows reviewing our two week theme: http://suptchrisburrows.blogspot.com/2019/03/perserverance.html
