We are proud to announce the August Athletes of the Month are Senior Elyse Leggett (Tennis) & Freshman Griffin Ernst (Golf). They were selected for their athletic achievements, character & leadership on their team!
“Elyse has stepped into competing as the second and third singles player this year. She has shown incredible mental fortitude. When met with a challenge, she fights to the very end, and she is intentional about spreading that mentality to the rest of the team. We are lucky to have her representing Georgetown through the Tennis program!” - Coach Brandon
“Griffin is always upbeat and polite. He was the medalist in our first 18-hole match as well as a couple of dual matches. He has the lowest average on the team and currently is the 4th lowest average of the SBAAC National League schools.” - Coach Baughey
