Preschool Information (select for more details)

Student Eligibility:
The pre-kindergarten program serves children, ages 3-5. Typically developing students must be three years of age by August 1st for admission. Four and Five year old children will receive priority for admission. Students must be completely toilet trained, which means they are able to function independently in the restroom. Children ages 3-5 with special needs are eligible to receive services outlined in their Individualized Education Plan. Students with disabilities transitioning from Part C programs (Help Me Grow) may enroll at the beginning of the school year as long as they turn three before December 1st. Otherwise, special needs students may enroll on their third birthday. Families/ guardians are required to reapply and submit updated income information if their child returns to the program for another year.The application deadline is May 18, 2022.

Kindergarten Information

If your child will be 5 years old by August 1, he or she is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year. In-person Kindergarten registration will take place on the following dates:

  • Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (during Community Day)
    Georgetown Elementary School, 935 Mt. Orab Pike
  • Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm (during Playground Night)
    Georgetown Elementary School, 935 Mt. Orab Pike

The following documents are required at registration:

  • Birth certificate
  • Immunization Shot Record
  • Proof of Residency
  • Parent/Guardian's Driver's License or State Issued ID Card
  • Social Security Card
  • Custody paperwork (if applicable)

Other Important Dates

  • Kindergarten Screener - August 1, 2, or 3 (you will make an appointment for this once you've completed all paperwork)
  • Kindergarten Camp - August 4 and 5 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
