The Georgetown Band Christmas Concert on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in the Georgetown Jr./Sr. High School gymnasium. The program will include:
6th Grade Band,
Junior High Band, and
High School Band.
The concert will begin at 7:00 pm and should last approximately one hour.
Tickets are required for admission. There is no charge for the tickets, but they are limited in
number. This is to keep the number of audience members below the COVID-19 limited capacity
of the gym. The family of each band member is being provided with three tickets. Every
person, regardless of age, counts as an audience member and must have a ticket.
If you are not going to use all three of your tickets, please return the unneeded ticket(s) to Mr.
Thomas so that we can still have the maximum allowable number of people in attendance.
We will also be live streaming on Facebook Live for people who may not be able to attend our in-person concert. This stream can be found on our district's Facebook "Georgetown Exempted Village Schools".
Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times while inside the school building.
Please have your household sit together in the bleachers while maintaining a six-foot space
between families.
Everyone must enter through the doors at the southeast corner of the building (entrance #12)
near the main parking lot.
6th Grade and Junior High Band members are to dress up for this special occasion and arrive
by 6:30 pm so that the program can begin promptly at 7:00. High School Band members will
wear their GHS Band uniforms.
We are excited to finally have a performance in front of a live (although small) audience.
