Georgetown Junior/Senior High School Vision
For Georgetown’s Jr/Sr. High School students to remain successful and productive in an increasingly global marketplace they need advanced skills in technology and leadership, and bringing these lessons to the classroom requires a fundamental shift in the way we provide education in the twenty-first century. Our staff utilizes cutting edge technology and instruction is individualized and diverse. Georgetown Jr./Sr High School opens doors to new pathways of instruction and learning for our students. Our students have technology at their fingertips and the classrooms here reflect the ever-changing world we live in. The Georgetown Community is involved in the education of our youth and can be seen throughout the building. Today more than ever, students need a special skill set to be prepared to find employment in highly competitive fields. To meet these challenges, the necessary tools and resources are provided to help them succeed not just locally but globally as well.

We believe success is the only option and student achievement is our top priority. Through the use of 1 to 1, dual enrollment, AP classes, along with the use of blackboard all students have the opportunity to be college ready and/or career ready. Our students leave us prepared for anything!!!

We believe that each student has a talent and through our personalized learning environment we enhance these individualized talents so each student has the opportunity to meet his/her highest potential and become a productive member of society and the G-men community. Each student’s long-term goal is to leave Georgetown with an associate degree or a career-technical certificate.
